Little India has expanded from famous Serangoon Road when Sir Stamford Raffles designated the area for Indian migrants (solders and employees) back in 1819. It runs from Lavender Street to the Rochor Canal.

In this area you will find many Temples and Mosques such as Adbul Gaffoor Mosque and Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple.

Be sure to visit all the jewelry stores, curry restaurants, the Tekka market stalls and of course the Little India Arcade.
