Pulau Hantu Island

Only one hour from the southwest area of the mainland is a popular Island for trainee divers and for Singaporean locals who are after a empty Island to themselves.

The Island even has two legends which are that pirate's buried their treasure on the Island and that Malay warriors battled to the death on the Island.

You would need to book a small boat for the journey from Clifford Pier. You will also need to purchase a camping permit from the Singapore Development Corporation.

Please note that if you do dive off the Island that you are aware of the local strong currents.
