Located next to Sri Mariamman Temple and Al-Abrar Mosque, it is one of the earliest mosques in the area constructed in 1826.

Also known as Masjid Jamae the mosque displays beautiful octagonal minarets.

Jamae Mosque was established by the Chulias, who were Muslims that emigrated from South India.
