This 180-year-old building housing the Fuk Tak Chi museum was once Singapore's oldest temple.

The main theme of this unique museum is the display of objects donated by local Singaporeans around during the early immigrant life of the nation.

Items include Chinese storybooks, family portraits, Japanese occupation lottery tickets plus common items like hawker licence fee receipts.

This museum is free to enter and is open daily.
