Raffles Hotel Museum

This museum located on the third floor looks at the history of the renowned Raffles Hotel around the Golden Age of Travel, which was roughly 1880 to 1939.

This was the era when Singapore was known as the 'Crossroads of the East' and where the Raffles Hotel travel stickers were seen on the steamer trunk (luggage) of all seasoned travellers.

This museum, which is open daily and has free admission, houses memorabilia of the hotels china, silver, postcards and letters. The photographs are well worth viewing as they represent the important historical timeline of early life in Singapore.
