East Coast Park

This park is located on the eastern edge of the Island and is very popular during the day for recreational activities and at night for dining options, especially the seafood restaurants at the 'East Coast Lagoon Food Centre'.

It is the nations most popular stretch of beach measuring 20 kilometres.

Many of the sporting activities you will find along this stretch of beach include tennis, cycling, rollerblading, jogging, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and bowling. You can also camp in specific areas.

Also located within the park area is the 'Big Splash’, which is Singapore’s first water based theme park, which opened in 1976. Here you will find the longest and tallest water slides in the country. It is extremely good value as the admission is free. Perfect for the kids to cool off after a day of sightseeing.

The beach is lit during evening hours and there is no cost to use the park. Expect the restaurants to be busy at night from Friday to Sunday.
