Newater is reclaimed purified water mixed with reservoir supplies. At present it is a negligible amount mixed but the governments goals is that by 2011, 2.5% of the reclaimed water will be mixed with the main reservoir supply.

By 2061, Singapore plans to be completely self sufficient when their water supply agreement with Malaysia expires.
